we pull *everything* apart (no short-cuts), and rebuild the transmission
to the condition as when it was brand-new - or better: we also fix design flaws
(updated clutch packs, pump gears, etc - to avoid future failures due to the same cause)
Includes Design Flaw Updates - new Chain, 7-Clutch Update in the Friction Pack, etc.
We used to have to replace the units (as seen in these examples Audi A4 and Audi A6 in the past) with ~$7,000 factory units, until the parts necessary to rebuild recently became available. Now we rebuild CVT’s as much as we rebuild ZF and Mercedes Automatic Transmissions (and all others, of course).
